Our Web Site

Tropical Financial CU promotes a secure web site environment by maintaining standards and procedures to guard against unauthorized access and ensure the security and privacy of your on-line transactions. For further information about the privacy of the communications between you (your browser) and our servers when using e-Branch on-line banking, click-on the Privacy, Authorization and Network Security links in e-Branch. Pre-expired "cookies" are used in accessing our e-Branch Internet banking product. All private data stored in cookies on the Internet Banking system are encrypted. These pre-expired or commonly known as dated cookies are used as part of the stringent security measures in the e-Branch Internet banking product. The dated cookies keep the session alive until the user logs out properly or times out of e-Branch. Once this occurs, the end user must log in with their User ID and Password to gain access again. This ensures that another user using the same computer cannot access the previous session. We impose the same confidentiality restrictions on information gathered through "cookies" as any other personal financial information.

We use firewall security to protect your accounts from intrusion from outside the Credit Union.

If you have provided personal identifying information via e-mail, the information will only be used to process your request and communicate with you. We may store these comments or requests to provide us with information for future improvements to our Web site. We do not sell or share this information with other third parties unless required by law.

Protecting the Privacy of Children

Disclosure as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
We do not knowingly collect or solicit data or personal information from children under the age of 13 on our Web site. We do not knowingly engage in target marketing directly to children on the Internet. If we receive an e-mail request from a sender identified as a child, we may respond to the specific request.
