Miramar, FL - August 18, 2009 - Tropical Financial Credit Union, based in South Florida, are now providing more than just financial services.  The Florida Credit Union can now add weddings to their list of services, next to free checking in Miami, Sarasota, Palm Beach, and Broward Counties.  When Akivia and Delois Fracois came to the Lake Park, Florida location to activate the free checking account they started online and walked out married by the branch manager. While there, the branch manager helped them with refinancing their used auto loan for their car, so the couple saved money, too.  

Tropical Financial Credit Union is known for their customer service and products including free checking from Miami to Palm Beach and Sarasota.  Never did they think customer service would be extended to host a wedding.  This is the first to take place at the South Florida credit union and it happened completely by accident.  The future Mrs. Francois stopped in to activate her free checking account at the Tropical Financial Credit Union Lake Park branch when they started reviewing her financial portfolio.  After reviewing her credit and realizing they could save her money by refinancing the auto loan for her car, the staff found out the happy couple were in a rush to the courthouse to renew their wedding license because it was about to expire.  Since the manager of the credit union branch is a certified notary, Nancy Loeza offered to perform the wedding on the spot, too! 

"We truly strive for customer satisfaction and try to help out in any way possible.  This day I'd like to say we made our customer extremely satisfied," said Nancy Loeza.  "Since this has never been done before, I didn't know what to say.  I must admit, I had to look up wedding vows on the Internet for the ceremony."
