Join Tropical Financial

Anyone is eligible for TFCU Membership (proof of residency required) who lives or works in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Sarasota Counties or in the following zip codes:

33455 - Hobe Sound
33458 - Jupiter
33469 - Tequesta
33477 - Jupiter/ Tequesta (East)
33478 - Jupiter/Tequesta (West)

If you qualify to become a member, we offer two options to receive your Membership application:

1. Download the membership application using Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have this software already, click here for a free download from Adobe. Once you have it installed on your PC, just click onto Membership Application and print the application.

OR,

2. Complete and submit the form below. We will mail you the Membership Application to the address provided. Application Form

Please send the following with your application for membership:

A minimum deposit of $5.00 issued by check or money order.

A driver's license or State issued Photo ID required for each account holder (prime and joint). This ID must be unexpired and issued in the U.S.

For new members: A second form of identification such as a Social Security Card or Voter's Registration Card.

The membership application must be filled out completely and mailed to:

“IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT”
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see your driver’s license and other identifying documents.” 

REMINDER:
Your application must be sent with a copy of each account holder's drivers license or State issued Photo ID and a check/money order for the minimum balance requirement of $5.00 made payable to Tropical Financial Credit Union.
