What are the requirements to be eligible for Bill Payment access?
There is an on-line application required for Bill Payment access to use the free bill payment schedule and online bill pay services,to use the free bill payment schedule and online bill pay services, and you are required to have a checking account and an ATM card or Visa Check Card.
How do I apply for Bill Payment? ![]()
The Bill Pay registration form is in e-Branch must be completed and submitted for Bill Payment access.
Once I have registered for Bill Payment, when is it available?
You will receive an e-mail stating that your registration has been accepted and that you will be able to access Bill Pay within three days. Bill Pay Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments are scheduled by due date. Sufficient funds must be available in the checking account. If the funds are not available, NSF fees will apply. If the Member has elected Overdraft Protection, sufficient funds must be available in the overdraft source.
Can Bill Payment be used with all accounts?
Bill Pay can be used with checking accounts to pay bills online.
How can I get a copy of a check written from my TFCU account?
Simply sign on to e-Branch, click on Account Summary, then click on the word checking account, extend the date range, any check numbers underlined in blue are visible online and are available to be printed from any computer. If a check was cashed in a Branch, it will not be available online.
Will I be able to transfer funds within the same account? Can cross-account transfers be conducted?
Transfers can be conducted via e-Branch among related account suffixes. Members will also be able to transfer funds to other authorized accounts on accounts set up for cross transfers. Cross Account Transfers that are currently authorized for HomeBranch can also be completed using e-Branch - no additional forms are required. If you do not currently have Cross Account Transfer Access and would like to sign-up for this service, there is an on-line Cross Account Transfer Application that can be completed by simply clicking on the Secured Forms icon inside e-Branch, fill out the form and submit. The Cross Account transfer feature will be available on your account within two business days.
Is there a limit as to how much a member can send out per day through Bill Pay?
The limit is $99999.00 with as many as 99 merchants/payees.
Will overdraft be available for Bill Payment?
If the member has elected Overdraft Protection, then overdraft protection is available. The funds must be available and in the overdraft source.
How are Bill Payments deducted from the member's account?
Payments are done by a direct debit through the Federal Reserve. If you have a question about Bill Pay, please check your account and then submit the inquiry through Bill Pay e-messaging option or contact our Call Center at 305-261-8328 or 888-261-8328.
When is an account debited for a scheduled payment?
The account is debited on the due date, which the member specifies when setting up the online bill payment service. The due date is the date the Payee will receive the payment. Please schedule your payments according to the due date.
Can a payment be cancelled after it has been entered?
Payments can only be cancelled when they are found on the bill payment scheduler's Payment Activity screen and the CANCEL button is visible. Simply select the Cancel option. If the payment has been sent, the member must contact the Payee to receive a credit for the funds.
