Following is a quick review of the Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) which is made available to Tropical Financial Credit Union members. This product offers solutions in critical situations and this summary is designed to help you understand the product.

The AD&D program provides coverage for accidental death or dismemberment resulting from a covered injury. Dismemberment includes loss of a limb, eyesight, speech or hearing. This insurance coverage works as an affordable low-cost supplement to your current life insurance and pays in addition to any coverage you may already have in effect. It can help to alleviate the financial concerns that might arise in time of need. Enrolling in the AD&D program is simple and requires only the completion of an enrollment card. There are no health questions to ask or physical exams required.

In addition to the standard AD&D benefits, this plan offers added benefits including a common carrier benefit, educational assistance and an anti-inflation benefit. At Tropical Financial you can obtain up to $250,000 in AD&D coverage with no questions asked or medical exams required. The rates for this coverage start at $1.00 per month for $10,000 of individual coverage. Family coverage is also available and provides a benefit to the member's spouse and dependent children. Rates for the family coverage begin at $1.50 per month for $10,000 of family coverage.
